Outdoor Wedding Reception Ideas - Frequently Asked Questions

If you are looking for outdoor wedding reception ideas, then this article will help you with some great tips. Planning a reception outdoors requires some extra consideration for things like weather, shade, and pests that you don't typically have to worry about in an indoor setting. However, with some careful preparation, an outdoor reception can be a fantastic way to celebrate your special day. Read on for some frequently asked questions about planning a wedding reception al fresco.

What is the First Step in Planning an Outdoor Reception?

The most important first step is in putting together a basic list of things that will relate only to the outdoor environment. You will of course be going through all of the normal planning that goes into planning a reception, such as hiring florists and caterers and live music or DJ entertainment. But on a separate list you will want to maintain a list of things such as your contingency plan for thunderstorms, clips for the table linens, canopies or tents to provide shade from the sun and cover from birds passing overhead, and other similar concerns. This will make sure that these important considerations are not overlooked as you plan the event.

What Kind of Food Should Be Served at an Outdoor Reception?

Actually, you have all of the same choices that you would have with an indoor reception, plus more depending on how casual your event is. I have seen receptions that featured a full sit-down meal with waiters and busboys attending each table. If you want a beautiful outdoor reception with all of the formality and tradition of a standard wedding reception, then by all means feel free to plan one. However, the casual and festive nature of the outdoor reception also allows you some leeway in taking a more casual stance. I have also been to some outstanding wedding receptions that were more of a barbecue and pool party than a traditional reception.

How Can I Beat Mother Nature?

Well, the short answer is, you can't. However, there are steps you can take to make sure the weather and local wildlife has the least impact possible. For windy climates, make sure your tablecloths are secured to the tables with clips. Also, use heavier centerpieces such as water filled fish bowls with candles or flowers floating in them rather than light floral centerpieces. Place some oscillating fans near the food service to discourage pests, and make sure the eating areas and food stations are covered to protect guests from your winged visitors flying overhead.

As you can see, it is not really more difficult to find outdoor wedding reception ideas. In fact many outdoor receptions are almost exactly the same as their indoor counterparts, with the exception of the beautiful landscape in the background. The weather can be unpredictable, but with some proper contingency planning and advanced preparation your outdoor reception will go off without a hitch.

Cheap Wedding Reception Ideas That Are Chic and Cheap

If you're like any other bride to be, you're probably thinking of a way to lessen that post wedding reception expense but without sacrificing the quality of the whole experience. Don't worry there are many cheap wedding reception ideas that won't break the bank but still look good.

One great chunk of the whole cost of receptions is the location it is going to be held at. Check out a few local establishments in your area to find out which of these offer reception services. You should check every place out to find a perfect offer that won't sacrifice the quality of the reception experience. These areas should first be reasonably priced but should also be aesthetically pleasing as well.

Another simple alternative to the whole reception scenario would be to have it at home or at the home of relatives. Don't be fooled though, "simple" doesn't necessarily mean that you won't do your homework. You're still going to check out different catering services for the cost of their reception or party packages. By doing this you should be able to get an estimate as to how much you will have to shell out for such a reception. These packages should include the rental and use of tables, cutlery, food services and if possible, waiting services.

If you're one who enjoys being close to nature, you might want to consider having your reception at a local park or reserve. You should contact the owners if they are privately owned and ask for permission. If the park is a government managed area then you should call your town hall to ask for permission about holding a party. These parks may have rules and regulations you aren't aware of. These rules may be about the number of allowable people, the volume of the music played or any other requests the managing group may have. The look you can achieve at parks is so natural that this should become the theme of the reception. This could be maintained by having beautiful rose arrangement set up at the canopy being used.

If you enjoy cooking, you might want to take control of the food preparations yourself. You can cook your whole menu earlier and freezing it to prepare it for the reception. You can even make it a family affair by gathering your relatives a day prior to the date of the reception. It will surely be a day of fun for the entire family.

Great ideas include simple recipes such as rolled meats, rosemaried potatoes, decorated salmon dishes, stuffed tomatoes, pastry hors d'oeuvres and bite-sized chocolate cakes or strawberries dipped in chocolate.

If you don't have time to take on cooking yourself you may want to call in the catering services. Like any other service though, call around to pick out the group which suits your taste and budget.

If you decide to hold your reception at an area that doesn't have cutlery and other dining items, you might as well rent them from another source. There are many establishments that specifically offer this service. Search your local listings for a great offer.

Your wedding favors may also be composed of food. You can buy chocolate molds that are available at most craft supply shops. You should then buy chocolate, melt it, pour it in the molds and then chill. Seal these chocolates well and then decorate them with pretty bows before the big day comes.

Inexpensive Wedding Reception Ideas For Your Special Day

If you are looking for inexpensive wedding reception ideas, this article will give you some great tips. Planning a wedding reception that does not cost too much is easy when you pick an off-peak season timeframe, leverage connections you already have in the local area, and choose a casual reception instead of a formal sit-down dinner. By the time you have finished reading this article you will be well prepared to plan a wedding reception everyone loves at a fraction of the usual cost.

Often when you are trying to save money on something, you have to accept lesser quality. Not in this case - you can have the exact same quality wedding reception as everyone else for pennies on the dollar by picking an off-peak time for your wedding. Typically the peak season for weddings is in the summer. If you have your wedding in the fall or winter, demand will be lower for all of the wedding related services such as catering, DJ's, and flowers. The reception space will usually be cheaper too, and you can decorate with a festive seasonal theme that everyone will love.

Another great money saving tip is by taking advantage of your personal connections. You may know someone who is really into photography, for example. You do not necessarily have to convince them to be your wedding photography to save money, but talking to them may reveal some tips about hiring a local photographer for less than you might have spent if you just turned to the "wedding photography" section of the yellow pages. Even if you don't know any one with those kinds of skills you can still sit down and chat with all of your girlfriends who have already gotten married and ask them to share tips on how they were able to find bargains.

If you are hosting a formal wedding, then unfortunately it is going to cost some serious money. Sit down dinners, elaborate floral arrangements, and expensive entertainment all add up. To save money on your wedding reception, consider toning down the formality and hosting a casual cocktail party or just coffee and cake. Your guests will still enjoy the party and will be freer to mingle with each other than if they were tied down to a place setting for most of the night. Another idea that is less expensive than a sit-down meal is a more casual buffet style dinner, which will allow your guests more variety in the food choices and make sure there is something for everyone.

As you can see, there are a lot of good tips to finding inexpensive wedding reception ideas. You can have the exact same wedding for cheaper by planning it in the fall or winter. You can also leverage your personal connections to find alternative vendors and discounts. And, you can save money by making the reception more of a casual and festive experience instead of an ultra-formal event. Now you are well prepared to save money as you plan your wedding reception.

Wedding Reception Ideas - Hosting a Tea Party Will Be Elegant and Impressive

Looking for wedding reception ideas that will not break your pocket book? Hosting a tea party can suit any wedding reception budget. An afternoon tea party would be scheduled between one and three in the afternoon. High tea, of course would be between five and seven in the afternoon.

Now before you stick you nose up at having an old fashioned tea party for a wedding reception, I think there are several things that you really should consider.

First, tea party wedding receptions are quickly becoming popular for many reasons. Not only can they be indulgent, but, they can fit any budget. And I have a few suggestions up my sleeve that can help you save even more. And in this economy, who could not use a few more dollars toward a honeymoon or house payment?

The modern day tea party can include a tea bar with a variety of hot and cold teas and even tea cocktails. Have friends that are loose leaf tea snobs? Encourage them to bring their own tea and enough to share with and introduce their favorite tea with others, if they would like.

Want to serve alcohol but have a limited budget? Have a Royal tea and serve champagne.

Of course, the food, the decorations, the wedding cake and the favors are the big cost concerns for any wedding. This is where a tea party wedding reception can appear elegant and sophisticated and look like you spent a fortune, when you did it within your budget.

More wedding reception ideas, hosting a tea party will be elegant and impressive.

Take a look at the wedding finger food reception ideas. Think of planning a menu of small finger foods that are easy to pick up, that go with the time of year and time of day you are having the reception. Keep the foods bite size so there is little chance of a mess.

Scones, tea sandwiches, tartlets, mini quiches, eclairs, petit fours are foods we do not eat everyday and when you add the extra special touches such as lemon curd, Devonshire cream, fruit based jams and spreads it is the perfect touch for pure indulgence for your guests.

It is really important to carry the theme and stick with the colors for the wedding reception. This is very easy to do in a cost effective manner when hosting a tea party wedding reception.

I utilize the three tier afternoon tea party server to carry the colors throughout the room. It can be the centerpieces on the tables, replacing the flowers and serving as the wedding cake.

That is a tall order, but I will tell you, that it works and not only is it absolutely beautiful, it can save you lots of money.

Utilizing the three tiered afternoon tea party server, place cup cakes, each decorated with a beautiful flower and color from the bridal bouquet. Strategically, place these on the bride and grooms table. This will be the flower arrangement, center pieces and wedding cake.

On each of the guests tables, use the three tiered afternoon tea party server to serve scones and sandwiches on the bottom level. On the middle tier serve the cup cakes with the flowers (wedding cake and flowers). The top level serves cookies, petit fours, eclairs, and candies.

Paying attention to small details such as taking time to add extra touches, such as menu cards will be appreciated by your guests.

I do not want to leave you without giving you some suggestions for favors for your guests. In keeping with your budget, I have a few suggestions you will be quite happy with, I am sure. Consider having tea tins made up with the happy couples names and date of marriage. You could even fill the tins with a special blended tea created and named after the happy couple. Also a nice idea is a miniature tea cup with the bride and grooms name on it.

As you are looking for wedding reception ideas consider hosting a tea party. You will find it to be an elegant and impressive event and most important, you can do it on a budget.

Don't Get Stuck Paying $25 a Plate - Great Cheap Wedding Reception Ideas

It's no surprise that the cost of your wedding reception is supposed to be half of your budget-once you start researching venues and gathering prices, you see right away that wedding reception venues are meant to clear out an excited bride's wallet. You don't have to go that route! There are some awesome cheap wedding reception ideas that can save you a lot of money.

o If you want to save the most money possible, rule out any venue that requires you to use their in-house caterer. This will always be more expensive than price shopping-independent caterers are more responsive to their customers' needs and are more willing to work with your budget.

o In the event that you really want to have your reception at a hotel or banquet hall that uses an in-house caterer, consider booking a "party", not a "wedding reception". Many people have booked a party, then called and booked a wedding for the same night, same amount of guests, and same amount of food. In just about every case, the price quote for a wedding reception was considerably higher than a party price quote-for no reason other than the fact that it was a wedding! Be careful if you do this-at some point, they'll realize it's a wedding, and you have to think if it's worth it to you possibly getting charged more once they figure it out.

o Compare, compare, compare! Look at as many different caterers' menus as you can-you'll get the best idea for pricing in your area and have a bargaining ground to start with.

o If there's a certain restaurant or type of food you love, even if it's not traditional wedding food, check it out! My wedding reception was catered by Qdoba-hardly typical wedding food, but everyone loved it and it was a lot cheaper than a regular caterer.

o Some reception halls and reception venues don't require that your food be from a licensed food distributor. If you have a large church family or group of friends that love to cook, think about doing a potluck-homemade food is delicious and most of the times, better than restaurant food. You will save lots of money and everyone will get to contribute to your wedding!

Although this may seem like a more difficult way of planning your reception, it will be worth the money you save! Another perk is that your guests will notice the individuality present in your wedding and remember it forever.

Cheap Wedding Reception Ideas - Frequently Asked Questions

If you are looking for cheap wedding reception ideas, there are a lot of important questions you should consider. After reading this article you will know a lot more about reducing your liquor costs, cutting your guest list down the smart way, and using the staff at your reception hall to your advantage. Read on to see answers to some of the most popular questions.

How Do I Keep My Beverage Costs Down?

Depending on the local liquor laws, you may be able to bring your own liquor to the reception. I am not talking about asking your guests to each bring a bottle of wine or a six pack! Consider going to a discount big box store that offers discounted wine, beer, and spirits and prices that are almost as low as wholesale. By bringing your own to the party you can avoid the outrageous mark-ups charged by most caterers and reception halls, and use the money you save on other parts of your wedding budget.

How Do I Limit My Guest List Appropriately?

The bigger the reception, the more expensive it will be. Sometimes you have to make the hard choice to eliminate some of your guest list in order to provide the kind of reception you want to host. Here is a trick you can use: Make a list of every single person that you would ideally like to share your special day. Now, order the list placing the absolute "must haves" at the top, such as immediate family and your very closest friends. Below those guests, list everyone else in gradually descending order of importance. Now, as you are forced to cut the size of the guest list you can remove people from the bottom. This way you know that no matter how small the list gets, the people who remain on it are the most important to you.

How Can I Avoid the Cost of a Wedding Planner?

If you are planning a large, formal, elaborate ceremony and reception then you will most likely have to hire a professional wedding planner to help you manage the details. Large formal weddings are costly and the amount of details that go into planning them can be overwhelming. However, if you are hosting a smaller more casual event you might be able to leverage the staff at your reception hall. Many hotels that rent their banquet rooms for wedding receptions will have event planning staff that you can use. These professionals have great local contacts for flowers, catering, decorations, and dance music. If you can use their expertise to help you plan the reception then you may not need your own wedding planner at all.

As you can see, finding cheap wedding reception ideas is not all that difficult. With a little creativity and extra legwork you will find that you can throw the same extravagant and luxurious wedding reception as the truly wealthy but at a fraction of the cost. All it takes is some proper management of the beverage costs, guest list size, and cost in planning the details.

Fall Wedding Reception Ideas - Frequently Asked Questions

Looking for fall wedding reception ideas? You will definitely want to read this article, which covers some of the most important considerations when planning a wedding in the fall. After you have finished reading this article, you will be prepared to choose a venue, select appropriate colors and decorations, and come up with unique ideas for your party favors.

How Do I Determine a Location For my Fall Wedding?

Fall is a beautiful time of year, and many climates are actually perfect for hosting an outdoor wedding. If you live in an area with good weather, consider a nice rustic location such as an apple orchard or farm. Fall inspires a feeling of getting back to our roots - the nostalgia of the leaves changing colors, hayrides and pumpkin patches, and hot spiced cider in the brisk air.

For an indoor reception, there are still many ways to capitalize on the traditions of the season. You might consider a traditional banquet or reception hall with dark wood trim and furniture. A beautiful fireplace is always an appropriate choice for fall wedding receptions too.

What Kinds of Colors and Decorations Are Appropriate For a Fall Wedding Reception?

There is no hard and fast rule, but many people choose to use the traditional browns, reds, bright yellows, and fiery orange tones for their wedding reception color palette. These colors evoke a feeling of festive ambience and remind people of the holiday season. Traditional seasonal decorations, such as gourds, squashes, and pumpkins can make great centerpiece ideas. Consider placing cornucopias around the food service tables.

In addition to the colors and place settings, you might add a touch of scent to the air. Potpourri, candles scented with cloves or cinnamon, or even a steaming bowl of spiced cider can add to the overall ambience of a wedding reception in the fall. Some of my favorite memories come back to me when I catch a whiff of a familiar smell!

What Are Appropriate Party Favors?

Traditionally, Fall is a time that is associated with the end of the growing season and preserving the harvest. People are thinking about maple syrups, canned preserves, and abundant fall fruits like apples. If you live in a region known for growing outstanding produce, consider offering your guests a homemade jar of preserves. Up north, decorative bottles of a local maple syrup is a popular choice for fall wedding favors. Be creative, and tie in your local traditions with your seasonal choices.

A Fall wedding has a number of advantages. You can be more creative with your decorations and theme than you would with a traditional Summer wedding, and because the peak wedding season ends in the fall, you may be able to spend less as well. Hopefully you can now see how easy it is to put together fall wedding reception ideas that are creative, tasteful, and will create a memorable occasion for you and your guests!

Labor markets, 3 are not good inexpensive wedding reception ideas

Inexpensive wedding reception ideas, used correctly, can improve your marriage and help you stay in your budget. You can make inexpensive choices which are always elegant and chic without looking cheap.

The key is to make subtle changes that are not apparent and are recognized by the average Wedding guest. Establish a budget and stay inside using the three ideas listed below.

Here are 3 ideas for inexpensive wedding reception.

Eliminate the Non-Essentials

There are several wedding planning areas which are not essential and which can be reduced or cut completely. Make a complete inventory of everything for your wedding, including your vendors.

Then decide what is absolutely essential and which can possibly be cut. For example, most likely you will want to have photos of your special day, so a photographer would be considered as essential.

However, other things as a videographer or a Rolls-Royce you will need to decide how important and essential they are for you. Some decisions will be difficult but necessary.

Do you really need an additional bouquet mixing desk? Or, your guests really be if you do not have a sit down dinner?

Get creative

Think low cost means think creatively. Wedding cocktail receptions are usually lots of fun for your guests, and if you choose wisely they can also be less expensive than a sit down meal.

Instead of having a bar open, consider to serve wine and beer only. You can also have a marriage of signature drink also used which will be cut on costs but always offer your guests a choice at the bar.

Candles are great decorations, can be used as wedding table centres and create an ambience. They will be also nicely fit into your budget.

Choose flowers that are in season or consider silk flowers. Many flowers silk is just as beautiful than real, and they were generally much less expensive.

Do your homework.

There is no reason to pay high prices for many things related to your wedding, especially when the economy is bad. Shop for things like wedding favors and invitations. The Internet is a tool that allows to do a lot of research in a short period of time.

Many websites have sections of mine clearance, and more small bridal stores will generally reduce prices to move inventory. Try to time your purchases at the turn of the seasons as models of the past years will be moved to the more recent articles.

For sellers, go with the cheapest option is often not the best approach. Research and speak to a range of different vendors and weigh other factors such as experience, references and quality of work in making decisions important vendor.

The secret to making an afternoon tea party wedding reception memorable is paying attention to the subtle details in your planning. Your attention to details will not go unnoticed by your guests. Trust me; this will be an event that your guests will talk about for years to come.

Planning a wedding reception should be fun for the bride and groom and the wedding party. So let's get started planning this very important event.

Looking for Memorable Wedding Reception Ideas? Hosting a Tea Party: Unique and Economical.

Deciding a theme for the reception can be fun. This is when the bride and groom can decide if the wedding reception will be a formal affair or a more casual and whimsical one. The theme will determine the tone for day.

Deciding the decorations for the theme will be your next step. Flowers, the invitations, menu cards and place cards should subtly reflect the theme of your reception. Attention to detail will make this a spectacular event.

There are so many things that a bride to be can do to make this event as special as she wants it to be. The next step is planning the wedding reception menu. Bite sized finger foods such as afternoon tea sandwiches, petite sweet and savory scones, fruit kabobs, are the key to keeping the food easy to handle and mess free.

Remember presentation is the most important thing. Get creative and have the food displayed in an eye appealing way.

Consider having a tea bar. Serve hot and iced teas. Offer a variety of teas, both traditional and herbals, for those concerned about the caffeine.

If you want to be a little more elaborate or are inclined to serve alcohol, tea cocktails, such as Long Island Iced Tea. Of course there is non alcoholic t mock tails that are fun to serve to your guests as well.

For those that prefer a more traditional celebration, champagne, is as an option to toast the bride and groom.

Memorable wedding receptions ideas include giving your guests a keepsake of your special day. Great Wedding Reception Ideas For Your Big Day

The process of designing and planning a proper wedding reception may seem daunting to most brides at first. There are many moving parts that must be perfectly synchronized to make the celebration a true success. The following wedding reception ideas will help you select the best features and implement those features with ease to make your party magnificent.

Tip 1 - First select the location your reception is going to be located at. There are a few different options you have here too. You can select a location that is very close to the main event or you can select a location that is somewhat further away, but more special overall.

You should also take into account the size of the location as well. You should choose a location that will provide plenty of room for all of your guests to have a great time. It may also be a good idea to select a location that will provide an excellent view for all of your guests to enjoy throughout the duration of the party as well.

Tip 2 - Create a seating chart. The creation of a seating chart may not seem very important, and some people do not even bother with this step, but there are a few good reasons why you might want to complete this step before proceeding further.

The creation of a seating chart acknowledges every single guest who attends your wedding personally. In this way, everyone who attends your reception will feel welcomed and included in the festivities that take place. The process of creating a seating chart can also make your event's catering more efficient as well.

Wedding Reception Ideas For The Budget Minded Bride

Even though you may be planning your wedding on a strict budget, that doesn't mean you have to miss out on having the reception you've always dreamed of. Here are a few tips and ideas to remember when it's time to begin thinking of budget-friendly wedding reception ideas.

Book as early as possible to get the best rates, and be sure to bargain shop for prices before settling on a location for the wedding reception. Inquire about their down payment and refund policies, and make certain you know all of the extra, or additional costs well ahead of time.

Choose an off time of year, such as in the winter, usually during January or March, to find the best prices on everything from caterers, reception venues, and honeymoon costs. Likewise, getting married on a day of the week such as Monday or Friday will be considerably cheaper than the usual Saturday or Sunday affairs.

Alcohol will usually drive the price of a wedding reception right through the roof, unless of course you either eliminate it altogether, have a "beer or wine only" affair, or provide all of your own liquor instead of being charged by the venue or caterers. Another option considered to be perfectly acceptable at hotels or banquet halls is having a cash bar instead of an open bar.

Forget the traditional banquet hall and instead find a church or recreation hall, or your local community center, many of which charge prices that are considerably lower than other venues.

Depending on the number of tables at the reception, it may be a bit expensive to have disposable cameras at each table. Instead, include small, decorative note cards on every other table, along with a few pens for friends and family to record their well wishes for the happy couple. Be sure to add a small sign at each table asking guests to please write their thoughts or words of wisdom for the newlyweds on the cards that will soon be paired with photos from the disposable cameras.

Decorations don't have to cost an arm and a leg to be beautiful. Visit your local craft store, as well as the area dollar stores to find a dizzying array of decorative possibilities, including tulle, which can be used to decorate just about anything. Dollar stores have a variety of candles, mirrors, and small decorative items that will easily turn any location into one that's fit for a day of love and enchantment.

If possible, include a "kids only" area for those guests under a certain age to play and have fun. This is one of the most helpful wedding reception ideas of all, especially if there are any parents in the wedding party. Recruit the help of a teenage friend or relative to keep the kids under control, and be sure to provide plenty of distractions, such as coloring books and crayons, puzzles, books, and a variety of games. If you're lucky enough to have access to a separate room, splurge and bring along a television, some fun movies and cartoons, or a few video games to keep the little ones entertained throughout the evening.

To save money on food, choose an appetizer only reception, which is usually held between the hours of 4 and 7PM, or a tea reception, serving only finger sandwiches, cake, coffee, and tea between 2 and 5PM, or a brunch or breakfast reception which would follow a wedding held during the late morning hours.

For example a receipt on the theme of the Hawaiian have Hawaiian food style and table creation. You may even caterers in Hawaiian clothes clothes. (We will talk about the wedding reception Centre exhibit ideas later so be sure to check for that.) Kind of like in the movie "The Run Away Bride" with the Hawaiian luau.

So you can configure your wedding reception with any type of decorations that you want, preferably someone else will do for you since you will want to make sure that you are preparing for the clothing and all other things involved in marriage. Decorations for the marriage can easily find specific party stores. These stores as a city of the part. You may also want to ask the caterer if this can be provided in the tax for food, many will do it for a small extra and some for no charge to all the additional. So make sure to ask in advance.

Rental stores will also be an excellent resource for your reception for such things as chairs and tables and occasional leased helium tank, but it is if you really have a few ideas of unique wedding reception.

You can also rent a good many other elements that will be required of the reception room, if you use one or rental shops will generally be additional things that you will be required as well as a microphone to the speaking time. If you hire a DJ for the entertainment, this will already be there.

You do not want to go very far from your theme well, otherwise this may seem like just a normal part. Make sure that the events of the reception are designed around the bride and the groom, not only a gathering where you get to pay to feed a lot of people and entertain the. So, you can have a good time with your ideas for unique and creative wedding reception. Always remember that it's supposed to be your special day and not a free lunch.

Wedding Keepsakes You’ll Love to Keep on Display

Many couples save keepsakes of their wedding to remind them of special details they hope to never forget. These items often include guest books, photo albums, toasting flutes, and serving sets. All of these are wonderful keepsakes to save from your wedding, but it is also sometimes difficult to display them in your home. Why not take the idea of a keepsake, include those special people sharing in your day, and display these items as artwork in your home? Being able to see these items on a daily basis will be a constant reminder of that joyous day in your lives. Guest Book CanvasGuest Book Tree
Traditional guest books can be updated to a work of art that will be noticed for years to come. One option would be to have a canvas displayed, with inks available, where guests can leave their thumbprint and a small message on your family and friends tree. A more attention capturing idea may be to have an artist attend your wedding ceremony and reception to capture the magic of your nuptials in a painting. The guests will be delighted to see themselves being painted into the brilliant scene of your wedding, and will be thrilled to see this timeless work of art displayed in your home in the future.
Make sure you will always remember the spectacular moments in your wedding with personalized touches, and beautiful artwork. If you are not sure where to start, do an internet search for local artists in your area. Make a few calls to discuss how these artists can enhance your wedding experience. Be sure to ask to see a portfolio of artwork the artist has done in the past to ensure that you will enjoy their style!

Whether you are planning a Christmas party or a fabulous holiday wedding, we hope you have been motivated to create a winter wonderland for your guests. With October coming to a close, the countdown to Christmas has really begun. There is only a short 60 day stretch of planning, parties and shopping left!

With six geese a laying there has to be feathers and also eggs, we prefer golden eggs - who wouldn't? We also love the look of pure white feathers. White on white makes for a modern and sophisticated winter wedding while the feathers provide the texture you need for contrast. A bit of silver and gold go a long way to add visual interest with a bit of sparkle and holiday shine. Some of our favorite details are the feathered fan in lieu of a bouquet and the egg like jordan almonds styled to form a monogram.
